Abu Dhabi to push green diesel

The Abu Dhabi government is pushing to have all cars and industries replace high sulphur diesel with a less polluting low sulphur green diesel by 2010. High sulphur diesel, which contains sulphur content greater than 500 parts per million, has been linked to premature death, lung cancer, asthma, bronchitis and other serious respiratory diseases, according to a statement by Abu Dhabi's Environmental Agency.
