The new TAMM Centre - which means 'done' in Arabic - was inaugurated under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council.

TAMM brings together a wide range of state-of-the-art government services.* Essential service-providers such as Etisalat and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi are also present on-site, making TAMM a hub for all documentation. For citizens, TAMM eliminates a day-long air or sea journey and is proof of an ongoing phase of change by the Western Region Municipal Council to provide a better quality of life to residents in the region.

'We are working to create a brighter future for everyone in the Western Region and this is a milestone achievement we celebrate today,' said Dr. Al Taher Mosabeh Al Kindi, Chairman of the Municipal Council. 'Progressive initiatives like TAMM are inspired by our President, H.H Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council. As per the Government's vision, we are modernising the western region's infrastructure and providing residents with swift and convenient access to government services on their doorstep.'

Hamood Humaid Al Mansouri, General Manager of the Western Region Municipality adds: 'Today, TAMM on Delma Island stands-out as a shining example of our 21st century government development plan for the Western Region, which is working steadily to benefit everyone all-points-west of Abu Dhabi. The result of modernisation is increased investment into the region and the creation of new and exciting career opportunities for the people of Delma and beyond.'

Khalifa Al Mansoori, Regional Manager TAMM Centre for Integrated Government Services says: 'We are proud to launch our second TAMM and build on the tremendous success of our founding centre in Madinat Zayed, which now processes more than 6,000 transactions each month. Our commitment is to surpass our own high expectations - and by embracing a modern and progressive approach we know we can meet and exceed the expectations of the people of the Western Region,'

Customer orientated design and state-of-the art services

Visitors to TAMM on Delma are greeted by a stylish and contemporary centre which brings state-of-the-art technology and customer-orientated architecture to the island, which sits in the Arabian Gulf 80km east of Qatar, and is more than fours hours away by sea and road from Abu Dhabi.

Symbolic of the time-saving convenience of TAMM, the centre's distinctive logo is inspired by the concepts of faith, goodwill and efficiency. Diverse government departments and services are shown as pieces of a puzzle that come together to form one organization and one set of global services.

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi has embarked on a journey to construct a brighter future for citizens and residents living and working in the six main cities located in the Western Region: Madinat Zayed, Mirfa, Ghayathi, Silaa, Liwa and Delma Island.
