Squash Federation signs with iHorizons to create new Internet site
- Qatar: Thursday, January 25 - 2007 at 10:30
- PRESS RELEASE
Preparations have begun to create and launch the new website for Squash Federation.
This huge content will be powered by PublishArabia, the system used by one of the largest Arabic Internet sites: Al Raya, Gulf News and others. This system enables various working teams to create, edit and publish texts, images and audio/video clips through an easy-to-use, fully Arabized interface.
Mr. Mohamad Al Khulaifi, Board Member at the Squash Federation, said, "The Squash Federation new portal is key to sharing our message in Qatar and the world. We consider providing our latest information to players, youth and the general public through modern communication technologies, like the Internet, a priority."
"The two parties consider this agreement a far reaching strategic project that will achieve great success for Qatar's athletic presence on Internet, particularly in view of the absence of an effective Arabic sports existence on the web," says Khalid Halaweh - iHorizons Country Manager in Qatar.
