Contracting companies join the pedestrian safety campaign in Dubai

A number of transport, construction and public companies has participated in the pedestrian safety campaign.

The campaign which is being organized by the traffic awareness Department in the RTA from the 14th of January, and will continue until the beginning of next month, is part of the Traffic Safety team, which is being organized with the participation of more than 30 public schools in the Emirate of Dubai.

A number of the officials at the Brotherhood public transport Company, which use more than 600 trucks, have expressed their willingness to participate in the campaign, through conveying the message of awareness and even by conducting an awareness courses to their employees.

Accordingly, RTA has prepared awareness posters in different languages including Urdu, which is understood by most Asian workers.

Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Saeed, public relations officer at Mabany Construction Company which has more than 1000 workers, has welcomed the RTA traffic awareness group initiative to visit the residence of the company's employees at Al Qouz, to meet the largest number of Asians workers for traffic awareness purpose.

Meanwhile, the students of new world school in Dubai have organized a march to support to the pedestrian safety campaign in which a number of students and the teachers have participated.
