Al Ain turns into a workshop with preparations for the International Aerobatic Championship

Al Ain City has turned into a big workshop with preparations for hosting the Al Ain International Aerobatic Championship, the biggest air show event in the Middle East, which will be held from 26 to 30 January 2007.

The event is being organized by Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, UAE Air Forces and Air Defence in collaboration with Al Ain Municipality, Al Ain Police, Al Ain International Airport, and a number of national companies which have provided all possible support to ensure the success of the championship.

The Organizing Committee have made clear that all necessary construction works are going according to schedule. Hundreds of workers are preparing the city and the championship venue in the best way through a precise construction plan to arrange and expand the public and VIP grandstands, and to expand the entrances and provide organized routes and parks for cars at the championship site, which would accomodate the participating teams, media delegates, and the huge audiences expected every day.

Moreover, direction signs in Arabic and English have been placed inside the venue and at the outer entrances, and the entire venue has been lit up and enclosed. The role of the Organizing Committee also includes providing easy and comfortable access for the visitors from inside and outside the country, so that direction signs have been placed at the entrances and center of the city and on the way to the championship venue.
