Under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces,the Al Ain Airshow opens with a huge participation of hundreds of the world's finest pilots who will represent several continents at the biggest and most celebrated air show event in the Middle East, and the only event of its kind in the world that is held at this time of the year.
On this occasion, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and Head of the Higher Organizing Committee, considered that this championship is one of the world's top aerobatic events, and hosting such big international event with the world's finest aerobatic stars by Al Ain City reinforces the high position of the UAE in the world. Definitely, holding this international event in Al Ain, and providing the financial, administrative and organizational support it deserves, would contribute to achieving all the desired goals of the event, the first of which is supporting tourism promotional strategies for Abu Dhabi Emirate and the entire country.
His Highness underlined that this sport event has become a valuable yearly opportunity to show the progress of the United Arab Emirates in all fields, and to confirm its capability to host the biggest international activities with excellent organizational standards and by efforts of 100% national staff who are well trained and highly dependable for the development of tourism and sport sectors.
Sheikh Sultan praised the great support received from the event sponsors, noting that this distinguished sponsorship complies with the regional and international objectives of the sponsoring companies which include providing all possible support to the international events hosted by the United Arab Emirates; and promoting the noble national goals of supporting sustainable development and highlighting the shining civilized image of the UAE.
Due to the good reputation of the Al Ain International Aerobatic Championship in the region and the entire world, and the great media and marketing advantages given to the sponsoring companies, this big event has attracted many sponsors who work to support the event in all possible ways and to contribute to highlighting the distinguished national activities and promoting the civilized image of Abu Dhabi Emirate and the UAE.
