RTA appoints new abilities in leading positions

The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) appoints new abilities in leading positions in the different departments through several administrative orders issued by Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Director of the RTA.

These new appointments came in line with the Directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. In addition to attracting qualified and distinguished experience contribute to the achievement of the ambitious vision and strategic objectives of the authority, which can be summarized in providing security and facilitating the transportation of the various group of society.

The decisions include the appointment of Sultan Al Khufaili as Director of the Registration and Licensing Department in the Marine Agency. He holds a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the UAE University in Al Ain and working now to get a master's degree in engineering system management from the American University in Sharjah. He had practical experience nearly ten years in the fields of road engineering and bridges, and tunnels, infrastructure management, maintenance and operation of the road network and the design of asphalt layers, and licensing of vehicles and drivers.

Also the appointment of Ali Mohammed Al Jassim as Deputy Director of the Roads Department and Manager of the implementation and oversight in the Roads Department in Traffic and Roads Agency, which holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Arizona in the United States and filled many leading positions and has the experience of more than 12 years of supervision and road engineering and has many of the certificates and specialized and technical training courses.

H.E Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the authority also issued an order to appoint Maram Akram Zawaideh, Performance and Control Manager in the Planning and Business Development Department, and holds Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Jordan University and has more than of 20 years of experiences in various areas, including information technology, software and business development, strategic plans and corporate performance and other specialized areas.

Adel Mohammad Al Marzouqi also appointed as Inspection Manager in the Right Away Department in the Traffic and Roads Agency, which holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Higher Colleges of Technology and currently in the process of studying Master degree in Project Management from the University of British in Dubai and has more than 6 years of experience in the field of roads and services.
