Emaar International Art Symposium, the fine arts event organised by Emaar Properties, has entered its final phase, as the 61 artists from around the world lend finishing touches to their painting and sculptures.
The sculptors are giving the final shape to works on art in stone and have been at work since January 7 while the painting competition began on January 14. Both competitions conclude today. They will be awarded at the closing gala dinner to be held on January 28 at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club.
"The Emaar International Art Symposium celebrates Dubai's creative spirit and is truly a global showcase of talent," said Mr Ahmad Al Matrooshi, UAE Managing Director, Emaar Properties. "The creative standards of the artists are excellent and have won the appreciation of art lovers in the region."
Sponsors of the Emaar International Art Symposium are Emirates Airlines as the official carrier, the Dubai Shopping Festival and the Global Village.
