RAK red tap water concerns

Residents in parts of Ras Al Khaimah have expressed their concerns about the reddish brown water that comes out of their taps and fear it is not safe for domestic use, reported Gulf News. They have urged the Federal Electricity and Water Authority to carry out analysis of the water, but FEWA officials say the water is safe and it is the rusting of pipe work that is causing any discolouration.
