Overwhelming participation of professionals at Quality Awareness Seminar

Around 300 professionals from leading Saudi Arabian organizations attended the seminar.

The seminar focused on topics like Concepts of Quality, Failures Causes in achieving quality, Benefits of quality, Cost of quality, Concepts of Continual Improvements, Process approach to improvements, different improvement models, ISO and other improvement options available internationally.

Mr. Mobin Sheikh, Principal Consultant at ICON-RealConsult and Mr. Ian Ker, Lead Auditor at Moody International S.A. Ltd, were lead speakers at the seminar.

Leading quality professional and business mentors including Mr. Asad Ullah Khan Sherazi- GM Coca Cola Bottling Co, Mr. Nadeem Tufail Butt-Quality Assurance Manager Saudi Ceramics Co, Mr. Javed Abbasi- Project Director for IT Security and Services at Al Rajhi Bank, Mr. Peter William Dighton- QA Manager Herfy Food Services Co, addressed the audience and shared their experiences regarding implementation of different management system standards in their organizations, the benefits of implementing these standards and the challenges they faced during implementation.

Mr. Mobin Sheikh focused in his presentation on Quality, Process approach to quality, Implementation plan for different ISO based management system standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC/IoP Global Standards, ISO 27001 (BS7799), ISO 20000 (BS15000), ISO 16949, AS91000, AS9020, AS9003, TL 9000, ISO 17025, SA 8000, and IRCA registered Lead Auditor Certifications.
