Infor's domain expertise drives supply chain efficiencies for Oman Cables

Infor ERP Baan, a leading enterprise resource planning solution for the manufacturing industry, was chosen following research to replace a proprietory software solution on the Oracle platform. Oman Cables evaluated Infor alongside other internationally reputed ERP systems.

Having selected Infor ERP Baan on the basis of its superior performance and suitability, Oman Cables and Infor began a record-breaking implementation - in less than six months - in time for the new financial year.

"We chose an intense 'Big Bang' implementation rather than a prolonged phased approach as we were confident that we could have it up and running in time," commented Mr. Hussain Salman, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Oman Cables.
