The rides, that are a huge draw with visitors of all age groups provides seamless fun and entertainment.
To ensure that the rides are entirely safe, a manual and data inspection was conducted by globally acclaimed German safety-certifying agency which conducts safety requirement checks in installations around the world. And only when completely satisfied with the certification and ensuring comprehensive safety standards were being met, the rides were opened to the public.
The tests that were conducted were based on three major EU safety regulations, the Fairground and Amusement Park Machinery and Structures Safety, Operation of Electrical Installations and European Inspection Agency Guidelines for the Approval and Safety Inspection of Amusement Rides. These are comprehensive and include visual checking of critical structures and mechanical parts, key operational tests to compare performance criteria of similar rides and inspection of key electrical installations and control functions for their proper operation.
Reiterating the importance attached to safety measures, Abdul Redha Ali bin Redha, CEO Global Village said, 'Great care is taken to ensure that the Fun Rides operators are trained to meet the safety levels and that there is uncompromising adherence to international safety requirements. Such stringent measures will ultimately add to the enjoyment that the visitors will experience in a secure environment, drawing comfort from the fact that each of these rides have gone through several levels of safety testing. The Global Village does not shy away from taking complete responsibility when inviting visitors to the Fun Rides and we are thus committed to providing not just entertainment but securing the safety of every visitor in accordance with international Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards.'
The Operating Company offers rides such as Ferris wheel, Roller Coaster, Sling Shot, Frisbee, Booster, Evolution, Movie Star, Magic, Russian Mountain, Eurostar, the Freij Flame, Samba Balloon, Go-Kart, Bumper Car, Swinger, Tagada and several others that are hugely popular with the teeming visitors.
