Court closes Al Watan

A court in Kuwait has ordered the closure of the Al Watan newspaper for three days for showing indecent photographs of Saddam Hussein's grand-daughter but the publication has appealed against the verdict, according to agency reports. A Kuwaiti citizen sued the paper after it printed pictures of Saddam's family members in swimwear around a pool last July. The paper blurred most areas of the women's bodies but this was deemed insufficient.
