Jet Aviation Dubai hires new directors of maintenance and sales

Jet Aviation Dubai recently announced that it has strengthened its Dubai management team by naming Markus Lehmann as new director of maintenance and Hardy Butschi as new director maintenance sales & customer relations as of January 2007.

Markus Lehmann has over 20 years' experience in the aviation industry and began his employment with Jet Aviation in 2003 as an aircraft inspector and supervisor at the company's facility in Kassel, Germany. He was later appointed station manager at the Saarbrucken facility before he returned in 2005 as station manager at Jet Aviation Kassel. Lehmann leads the multinational team of aircraft maintenance and avionics specialists at Jet Aviation Dubai, who provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, and avionics installations on a wide variety of Business Jets.

Hardy Butschi joined the Dubai facility from Jet Aviation Geneva where he held the position of director sales maintenance and deputy customer services for three years. Bütschi began his career as an aircraft mechanic with Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. and worked in the company's general aviation and defense aviation divisions. He is a 19 year aviation veteran and holds a Master of Science degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Wales.

Jet Aviation's maintenance and FBO location in Dubai was established in May 2005. The facility has a total of 4,200 square meters (45,192 square feet) of hangar space, a workshop area of 1,000 square meters (10,760 square feet), and a two-story FBO building with an area of 1,050 square meters (11,300 square feet).

Jet Aviation Dubai is an EASA (#EASA.145.0317), FAA (#U8JY426Y), Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA, Pakistan CAA, Saudi Arabia PCA, UAE GCAA approved repair station and an authorized service center for Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Boeing Business Jets and Raytheon for the Hawker 800 series as well as an authorized dealer for Rockwell Collins avionics products.
