Hill International promotes Stephen D. Exelby to Vice President

Hill International (Nasdaq:HINT), the worldwide construction consulting firm, announced today that Stephen Exelby was promoted to Vice President within the company's Construction Claims Group based out of Hill's Dubai office.

Exelby was previously an Executive Director with Knowles.

Exelby has 35 years of construction and engineering experience principally engaged in commercial and claim management of projects in the civil engineering, power, oil & gas, mechanical & electrical and building disciplines. He has worked outside of his native England for over 22 years, spanning 6 countries. His experience includes dispute management of issues relating to the largest oil platform development in the Gulf; the Cairo Wastewater Scheme (the world's largest); the 7 star Burj Al Arab Hotel, the Al Taweelah Desalination Plant in Abu Dhabi, the biggest of its kind at the time and the world's largest waste landfill site, in Beirut. He has been in the Middle East for over 18 years.

Exelby brings to Hill specialist experience gained from major international construction and engineering companies and contract consultancies. He established Knowles Middle East's office in Abu Dhabi in 1998 and thereafter remained Knowles' Executive Director for 8 years, ultimately based in Dubai, until the Hill International acquisition of the Knowles Group. He is Fellow of four professional institutions, holds a Masters Degree in Construction Law & Arbitration from the University of London; is Committee Member of the UAE Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, responsible for education and training and is a Registered Expert and Registered Arbitrator.
