Censorship looms for UAE TV

Broadcasters in the UAE could face heavy new regulations to "protect" viewers, CampaignME reports. Dr Amina Al Rustamani from the UAE National Media Council says that an independent code of conduct used in Dubai Media City could be expanded federally. She said that currently broadcasting had no boundaries and was "up there on a satellite" where everybody could receive it.
