A total of 470 expatriate grade one school pupils have passed the enrollment criteria set by the UAE education ministry for acceptance into public schools, Gulf news reported. The pupils had to complete an entrance exam in Arabic, English and maths; and have a grade point of an average 90% in their previous grade. The aim is to bring talented expatriate pupils into the public school system.
