Hanania's personal decision to retire from HP comes after a record 2006 performance year for HP worldwide and in the Middle East. "Joseph Hanania has been instrumental in developing the company's business in the Middle East region and has played a pivotal role in expanding our client base and enhancing our market share" said Jan Zadak, vice president and managing director Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. "We thank Joseph for his outstanding leadership throughout his time with HP and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours."
