"As one of the founding members of MEBA, it is crucial that Royal Jet offer its support at this exhibition. One aspect of this is to demonstrate our market leading presence in the region, especially with the specialist aircraft in the fleet," said His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman, Royal Jet.
The long-range luxury Boeing Business Jet (BBJ), which has a range of over 11000 KM, will be one of the main attractions at the exhibition, as well as the British Aerospace Avro RJ 85 special mission business jet.
"Royal Jet has the largest fleet of BBJ's dedicated for charter in the world. The aircraft is capable of carrying up to 42 passengers, and can travel the equivalent distance from the UAE to New York. The RJ 85 is ideal for short-haul flights, and due to its high passenger capacity and ability to access remote, poorly equipped airfields with short strips or unpaved runways, the aircraft is well suited for specialist trips,"
added Sheikh Hamdan.
Royal Jet provides a complete range of aviation services that range from ad hoc charter and block charter to its medical aviation service (MEDEVAC), through to aircraft management that provides clients a turnkey solution for acquiring, maintaining and managing private jets.
The existing fleet boasts a British Aerospace Avro RJ85, a Medevac Learjet (L55), two Learjet (L35) one of which is Medevac enabled, two Gulfstream (G300), four Boeing Business Jets (BBJ), the world's largest charter fleet of this long-range aircraft, and the Augusta Bell (AB139) VIP Helicopter.
"Royal Jet has extensive international ambitions. While private charter forms the main core of our business, our offering has far greater depth and specific audiences need to be made much more aware of our capabilities.
"We are currently in negotiations for two more aircraft. The expansion plans that are in place will see several more aircraft coming online within the near future, bolstering our aeronautical offerings," commented Christopher Crum, President and CEO, Royal Jet.
This year's conference and exhibition is being held at the Airport Expo Dubai and will run from the 31st January to the 1st February.
