Huawei to power Telecom Italia's WDM projects

The first Chinese telecommunication equipment supplier selected for an Italian telecom programme, Huawei was awarded the contract to supply optical transport technology after a stringent evaluation process by Telecom Italia.

Huawei has also successfully collaborated with European mainstream operators including British Telecom, where Huawei is a preferred vendor in the transport and MSAN domain for its 21CN program; and with Dutch operator, KPN, for a CWDM/DWDM project.
