Broader MENA Investment Summit in Dubai 20 -21 February

On the 20th and 21st of February 2007, Dubai will be hosting one of the major business events in the region, the Broader MENA Investment Summit.
Held under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Industry of the United Arab Emirates, this Summit is sponsored by MIGA, World Bank Group and ICIEC, Islamic Development Bank Group, in association with the Dubai International Financial Center.
This unprecedented Summit will bring together select top-level business executives and financiers from the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, and Pakistan.
The second day will also feature direct, practical workshops on using risk mitigation for improved project selection and for improved access to finance. Matchmaking sessions will be scheduled to connect investors and lenders from across the region with specific investment opportunities.
The Broader MENA investment summit will, in particular, address the following issues: trends and projections in the region, Islamic banking, project finance, infrastructure PPPs and privatizations, risk mitigation tools, and specific investment opportunities
