Stars including Sergio Garcia, Greg Norman, Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Colin Montgomerie played in the par-3 team event at Emirates Golf Club.
They raised a total of Dhs 135,000 for three UAE charities - the Al Noor Training Centre, Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre and Dubai Centre for Special Needs.
Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai's premier residential golfing community, sponsored the event, a day after it announced the 'dream team' of designers for its Wind course - Sergio Garcia, Greg Norman and Pete Dye. Golf fans were given a treat as Greg Norman and Sergio Garcia teamed up again to play in today's match.
David Spencer, chief executive of Jumeirah Golf Estates, said:
"Today has been a great day of golf, giving fans the chance to see the world's best golfers up close in a relaxed, fun environment - albeit one in which they were competing hard with each other!
"Greg and Sergio make a great team on the course, just as they do off the course.
"We're delighted to have continued our sponsorship of this event for another year."
