Any new customer of NBD's Suhail private banking service who joins at the Dubai Desert Classic will be entered into a unique prize-draw from which one new customer will be selected to fly with a guest in business class from Dubai to Scotland. They will play the Old Course, St Andrews followed by the venue for the 2007 Open Championship, Carnoustie, at the end of May this year. The winners will stay for 3 nights at the 5-star Fairmont, St Andrews and will have a practice round on the award-winning Devlin course at the Resort.
An additional winner and his/her guest will also be selected from the customers who join NBD's hospitality chalets during the Championships overlooking the 9th and 18th greens.
NBD is also running a kids putting challenge on its exhibition stand opposite the practice ground. Children will be able to win a wide variety of NBD gifts on the stand.
"The Dubai Desert Classic is one of Dubai's leading sporting events and our activities at the Championship allow NBD to showcase our services to both existing and potential customers. We're delighted to support this world-class golf tournament and congratulate Golf in Dubai for assembling such a world-class field for the 2007 event",
commented Douglas Dowie, the Chief Executive Officer of National Bank of Dubai.
