Jordan Ad spend up 33%

Companies in Jordan spent $215m advertising in 2006, 33% more than the year before, the Jordan Times reported. The telecommunication sector led with $31.4m, followed by banking and finance at $23.6m, according to the International Advertising Association, Jordan Chapter. Increased competitiveness across all sectors caused companies to spend more on advertising, president of the IAA Jordan said.
