'This is my first visit to the region and to Dubai in particular in this role. I am quite fascinated with the Emirate's fast-paced development. We at Accor strongly believe and support the growth of this region, which explains the fact that we have signed management contracts for 28 new properties that are being built here. We are looking at making the most of every possible opportunity such as the ones Dubai offers. It is our endeavor to be part of the grand success that is building history in Dubai, the U.A.E and indeed the region as a whole.'
Mr. Christophe Landais, the Dubai-based Managing Director of Accor Middle East, commented on Mr Gilles Pelisson's visit, by saying, 'Words cannot describe what the eyes can. This is why no matter how hard we tried to reflect the image of the rapid growth happening in the region we couldn't have conveyed the same message that would have been deduced from the CEO and Accor Founder's actual visit. Our Dubai-based team welcomes the Paris delegates and believes strongly in continuing our strategic focus on commercial and development opportunities in this city and region.'
