Al Futtaim, GE Money pact

UAE-based Al Futtaim Group and GE Money, General Electric's consumer lending unit, have agreed to offer consumer finance products in the UAE through a joint venture company, Gulf News reported. Al Futtaim holds a 60% stake in the venture and GE Money 40%. Operations should start in Q2 2007.
