IAMRA is an international organization that supports medical regulatory authorities worldwide in protecting the public interest by promoting high standards for physician education, licensing and regulation, and facilitating the exchange of information among medical regulatory authorities.
The Association provides a forum for the development and sharing of new concepts and new approaches to the regulation of medical practice, and encourages and supports research, policy analysis and policy development.
Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City said:

The DHCC Licensing Board and the Center for Healthcare Planning & Quality (CPQ), oversee the implementation of quality improvement and governance infrastructure for the entire medical complex. Part of CPQ's unique role in the region is to ensure quality of care by licensing providers to operate within DHCC.
Dr. Ayesha Mohammed Abdullah, Director of CPQ said: "As a member of this organization, the DHCC Licensing Board has the opportunity to connect with a global network of institutions that advocate and promote high standards for healthcare and patient safety.
"IAMRA provides opportunities for information-sharing and discussion of common problems affecting the delivery of healthcare and the regulation of medical practice, as well offering the potential to influence the setting of medical regulatory standards on a global basis."
The DHCC Licensing Board joins the network of IAMRA with members in 31 countries across the world.
