Axiom Telecom wins DSF Innovation award

Axiom Telecom, the region's flagship mobile phone retailer and distributor, won the Dubai Shopping Festival Innovation award for outstanding promotions on February 2007.
"I'd like to thank H. H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum for honoring Axiom and awarding us with the Innovations Award for Best Promotions. Axiom prides itself on listening to our customers and we love being able to reward them with exciting and competitive promotions and its great to be recognized for our efforts," said Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Bannai.
During the '45 Days.45 Winners' promotion across all Axiom outlets in Dubai, customers had access to a huge range of great deals and new products, showcased in a 32 page buyers guide. Everyday for the 45 days of DSF, customers won a whole host of fabulous prizes including 45 FREE flights to anywhere in the world, driving an F1 car for a day, a helicopter and balloon ride over Dubai and other great adventures & gifts.
In terms of innovation from the retail side, this was the first festival showcasing Axiom's new interactive retail format in its flagship stores in Deira City Centre, Mall of the Emirates and Town Centre. The new showrooms feature live experience zones where customers can demonstrate and try out the latest handsets live. The new stores also feature, a new range of MP3 players and the largest range of mobile phones in the marketplace and a dedicated Bluetooth accessories zone.
In the experience zones for music, photo and business, customers are able to listen to music on mobile phones, and test the photo capability of mobiles, through Bluetooth, printing live in store and test the latest business PDA's. The zones have been designed and driven by customer demand and research.
"We believe our new stores lead the mobile world in terms of layout and live experience - the power of the Dubai Shopping Festival, our amazing promotions and our innovative stores attracted many customers to the Axiom stores," commented Faisal Al Bannai, Chief Executive Officer, Axiom Telecom.
