Presided by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum and under patronage of HH Ahmed Mohammed Hasher Al Maktoum, the inaugural ceremony of the world's richest shooting competition, Dubai Shooting 2007, was held last evening at the Global Village amphitheatre.

In addition to VIP guests, other attendees at the event included Mr.Hakim Al Bannay, General Manager Corporate Affairs of ETA Ascon, representatives from International Sport Shooting Federation and the UAE Shooting Association and many of the shooting participants.

The shooting competitions kick off at Jebel Ali International Shooting Club and closes on 7 February 2007.
