Effat College prepares for Sixth Annual Career Day

Effat College intensifies its preparations for the Sixth Annual Career Day 2007, which will take place on March 14th 2007 on campus.
Effat College has organized the Career Day event for the past five years. It usually organizes discussions that revolve around themes of interest and contemporary issues. Community members belonging to various age groups, women in decision-making positions, and experts contribute to these discussions. The purpose of this event that is organized by the Career Development Office (CDO) at Effat College is to increase student awareness about the educational and career opportunities that various countries offer and identify internship and scholarship prospects for students.
The Sixth Annual Career Day 2007 will feature several leading Saudi personalities who will share their expertise and knowledge with the women applicants. A panel discussion made up Dr. Hatoon Fasi, Mrs. Safiya Bin Zagar, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Shugairi, and Ms. Tahani Sindi as moderator will be part of this event.
A job fair will also take place during this event. Leading companies are invited to participate in the fair and recruit female applicants from various educational institutions. Companies must pay a participation fee of SR500.A female graduate wishing to present her Curriculum Vitae to prospective employers must pay a fee of SR50.
Effat College wishes to involve the local business community in this remarkable prospect
to provide job opportunities for young females in Saudi Arabia . Therefore, it encourages local companies and institutions to sponsor this event. Effat College offers interested parties three levels of sponsorship: Platinum, Gold, and Silver.
