The 10th Doha Jewelry and Watches Exhibition opened in style

The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) 2013 opened in style last night at the Doha Exhibition Center.

Opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani, QTA Chairman HE Eng Issa Al-Mohannadi then cut a giant 10th anniversary cake.

The first day saw a spectacular world first with a 407 carat diamond reveal by Mouawad, the third largest rock of its kind in the world and first in terms of unsurpassed crystal clarity.

With more visitors flocking to the event on the first day than ever before, the DJWE is set to break all records once more this year.

The show is open all week for visitors from February 26th to 28th at 12:00 pm to 10 pm, on March 1st from 4pm to 10pm, and from March 2nd - 3rd at 12.00pm to 10pm.
