The workshop was carried for five consecutive days starting 28th January 2007, where the students covered all the material they need to go for the CEH exam and carry the name Certified Ethical Hacker. The program was delivered by Dr. Ali Jahangiri, an IT Security expert who is the only EC-Council's certified trainer in the Middle East. Dr. Jahangiri, apart from his other qualifications in IT security field, was also one of the outstanding speakers in the international IT security event, Hacker Halted 2006 Dubai conference, which was organized by 32Group in association with Dubai Informatics Computer Center (DICC) and EC-Council on December 2006.

The labs were prepared with the latest cutting-edge technologies used in the IT-Security field. The participants had a deep background in IT security, and have worked on various IT security projects. At the end of the day, the success of the CEH Version 5 workshop was measured by the satisfaction level of its attendees, the students were more than pleased with their instructor's proficiency in delivering this workshop, they thought that the lab facilities available were very good and assured that this workshop has enhanced their knowledge in IT security a great deal.

The CEH course was acknowledged as important by the participants for every IT professional in the field, but the real question was would they train their employees to have such power and in-depth knowledge? Not so surprisingly, the common answer was that it is a must for everyone involved in Information Security.

One of the participants in the CEH workshop, Mr. Mohammed AlMudharreb, an IT projects' supervisor in RTA-Roads and Transport Authority- who has 4 years of experience in network security, stated that the CEH workshop has added a lot of awareness and techniques to further secure the IT environment he is working with. Yet another participant, Mr. Hamed Al Awadi who is a BS7799 lead Auditor with 5 years of experience in Information Security and was involved in several security projects stated that the CEH course was a very intensive course which offered an advanced level of awareness.

Mr. Amir Pishyar, Director of Dubai Informatics Computer Center, expressed his satisfaction of the CEH Workshop's conclusion, "It was the first workshop on CEH Version 5 to be held in UAE and it was very exciting that it was happening at Dubai Informatics Computer Center. I am looking forward for our next workshop in February 2007".
