It has also set its sights on establishing a presence in Singapore and Malaysia.

Dr. Azedine Elmaani, President and CEO said the expansion is intended to complement its growing online operations, which at the end of 2006 recorded a remarkable average of 6 million hits per month."Mawaride.com has become the preferred online recruitment partner for a growing number of prestigious companies in the region, because of our proprietary search technologies and stringent selection process that enable us to deliver only the most suitable candidates for our clients' various human resource requirements. As a result, we have witnessed an exponential growth in our online operations, which we will now support with an even wider network of offices. This means not only better coverage, but also a wider pool of candidates to fill the region's still growing need for highly qualified professionals."

Currently, Mawaride.com has offices in Dubai, Riyadh, Casablanca, Colombo and Beirut. Dr. Elmaani revealed that the company also plans to increase its staff by 100 percent in 2008.

Although a late entry into the industry, having established its operations only in 2004, Mawaride.com quickly established a favourable reputation by developing a fully integrated, ethnically relevant, culturally sensitive and well-researched online competency examination system to save resources for employers across the Arab world and offered free of charge to all registered jobseekers - a first in the human resources management industry.

"We are also the only online recruitment portal in the Middle East to offer an advanced search technology to retrieve information from a candidate's attached documents with a 100 percent accuracy," added Dr. Elmaani.

Mawaride.com is also preparing a number of strategic partnerships with leading universities across the GCC. "This is a significant step forward as we seek to develop a wider, more substantial pool of candidates who will be able to fill in human resource gaps that are so critical to the continued development of the region," Dr. Elmaani ended.
