- PRESS RELEASE
Nestled between the calm waters of the Arabian Gulf and the golden dunes of the Arabian Desert, is the glittering horizon of the rapidly growing metropolis of Dubai.
This has translated into a booming market for commercial space with figures of nearly 2,000 commercial buildings being constructed between 2003 and 2006, which represents approximately 4.65 million square metres of floor space.
An ideal setting for the young metropolis of the United Arab Emirates to host the 6th Middle East Office Exhibition 2007 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from the 3-5 June 2007.
The Office Exhibition is well established in the Gulf region and is recognised for being an authority on the design and management of the office environment. Featuring exclusive product launches, cutting-edge developments and innovative design from world- renowned providers of office furniture, office interiors and office technology, this year's show is expected to cover over 8,000 sqm with over 300 exhibitors participating.
The most interesting and absorbing aspect of The Office Exhibition is its showcase of trends occurring in different parts of the world - at one show, in one place, at one time. Exhibitors from North America to Germany, Italy and Portugal to as far a field as Australia and Japan, offering a brilliant mix of premium, high-end, innovative products and services to the region's wealthy architectural & interior design firms as well as the aspirational end-user.
The Office Exhibition has grown over the years since its inception and has also become famed for its Workplace Freedom Seminars which is a concept based on the need to create a motivating and productive working environment conducive to knowledge sharing, communication and innovation. In 2007, leading international specialists will once again be sharing their knowledge and expertise on workplace-related developments and innovations.
The Organisers have also announced their Patronage of the Office Environment Category at the 2007 Architecture Plus II Awards: Design for a New World.
