Al Majid Motors Co. wins Dealer of the Year award

The award was presented by the Senior Executive Vice President and COO of KIA Motors Corporation, Mr. Y. H. Kim to the President of Al Majid Motors Co., Mr. Samir Tayeh, at a ceremony held at the Melbourne Park, Australia in conjunction with the Australian Open Tennis 2007 for which KIA is the major sponsor since 2002.

On congratulating the winners during the awarding ceremony at the Melbourne park Australia, Mr. Y. H. Kim, Senior Executive Vice President and COO of KIA Motors said "I am delighted to be among all of you to celebrate the great dedication and hard work you have shown that has contributed so much to the success of Kia Motors. The awarded dealers were selected based on the results of the annual Kia Dealer Proficiency Assessment (KDPA), which is an objective evaluation tool that aims to strengthen the capability of KIA distributors around the world.

A total of 34 dealers -- top dealers from each region -- were selected to be the participants of this program and Al Majid Motors Co. were the only distributor selected from the Middle East Region. The evaluation measures 6 key performance areas of each dealer - facilities, sales, after service, marketing, finance and general management.
