E-Vision outage in Al Ain

A technical fault in E-Vision's wireless broadband network caused subscribers in Al Ain to lose reception last Wednesday, reported Gulf News. The cable TV provider's phone line was flooded with complaints after screens went blank at 2.20pm, just as many viewers were set to watch a live cricket match from South Africa. Pictures were not restored until 7.15pm the following day.
