Global IT and electronics outfit BenQ claims it has secured 14% of the digital projector market in the Mena region, 18% of the LCD monitor market and almost 10% of the LCD television market. BenQ's Dubai office co-ordinated the entry of the firm into the Kazakh and Egyptian markets last year and this year will set up liaison offices in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and South Africa.
