Cairo ICT attracts record number of visitors

Cairo ICT finalized the efficiencies of its 11th round.
Ossama Kamal, the Managing Director of TradeFairs International, announced the event's final conclusion statement. He stated that the exhibition has scored quite and achievement this year. Horizontally the exhibition scored an increase of 17% with an increase in the number of enterprises that stood at 264 companies representing 814 international institutions. Vertically, booths heights have reached 17m high.
The exhibition received 58 and 700 visitors and 25 thousand visitors to the shopper who did not visit the exhibition, however; they witnessed the launch of Microsoft's Vista Operation System. According to Kamal, more than 25 sessions have been convened on the sidelines of the exhibition all discussing the relation of ICT to life and the shape of things to come.
The "A Nation Online" initiative has been also launched and Dr. Tarek Kamel, the Minister of Information and Communications technology handed in the computers himself. HSBC bank announced the Vodafone Cash smart card which is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East, and which will meet the needs of the wide base of its clients.
Amany Ghanem, Tradefairs General Manager, asserted that the number of visitors is almost close to 60 thousand visitors in addition to 25 thousand who visited the shoppers. The two figures reflect the community's interest in information and communications technology
