TNT Express wins Mitsubishi Motors contract

TNT Express, the world's leading B2B express delivery company, has won the regional spare parts distribution contract from Mitsubishi Motor Parts Sales of Gulf FZE (MMGF), the sole and exclusive importer of Mitsubishi Motors in the region.

Under the contract, TNT will be responsible for MMGF's vehicle off the road (VOR) deliveries, emergency orders and stock distribution requirements into the GCC, Levant and Egypt via its Middle East Road Network (MERN).

'TNT was selected for its high service levels and its excellent 'Day Definite' road network,' said Yasunori Koyanagi, Manager, MMGF.

'Another determining factor was its speed of delivery to our key markets including Jeddah and Kuwait.'

Apart from its day definite transit times, TNT's MERN also includes full track and trace technology, door-to-door delivery, one price for imports and exports, 24/7 customer service, GPS tracking and cost effective prices on heavy weight consignments.

TNT recently launched a new trucking service to Jordan from Bahrain and to Eygpt from the UAE. Its other MERN destinations include Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Iran.
