The project from start to finish took less than a year with Xerox Emirates team successfully creating a streamlined multifunction print environment at Dow's offices in the UAE. The impact has almost been immediate, with Dow experiencing significant cost savings including a huge cut in the number of print devices needed on-site from 8,000 to 5,000. The Dow team in the UAE are also enjoying the benefits of more effective & productive communication capabilities, due to faster, more flexible digital processes and efficiencies linked directly to digital documents rather than shipping documents back and forth and facing the risk of delays involved with transportation.

The progress of this project was constantly monitored closely by Xerox Help Desk in the US. Xerox Emirates has a comprehensive support service in place - as part of the Full Service Maintenance Agreement - with Dow in the UAE to ensure that they experience a 24x7 effective document management environment.
The Dow Chemical Company has since sent a note to Xerox Corporation in the US thanking them for the excellent service demonstrated during this implementation in the UAE.
