Navigation has been simplified with left hand vertical menus replacing the previous horizontal menu and contents have been repositioned in more logical sections of the site.
A new feature is the 'Special Offers' section, which as the name suggests, offers competitive and special deals such as the New Year Seat Sale.
The Duty Free and Inflight Entertainment sections have been redesigned to offer online versions of the inflight brochures so that customers can enjoy going through them exactly as they would with the print edition on board.
"The website enhancement is one of our many ways to reach out to our customers more intimately online," says Gulf Air Vice President Marketing and Sales, Lee Shave.
"We have taken into consideration the valuable feedback received from our customers and have tried to implement many of their suggestions to enhance the online experience."
"We will continue to develop the sites to make the content richer, increase interaction with the customer and make browsing Gulf Air websites a useful and enjoyable experience."
The new-design website has been designed entirely in-house by Gulf Air staff and developed through local IT companies in Bahrain.
