With the opening of the new base, BJ PPS is able to respond even more efficiently to inquiries. In addition, personnel and equipment and engineering resources are deployed with greater speed following the award of a contract. The 5,000 square-foot base features offices and a sizable workshop. Technical sales, operations personnel and a comprehensive suite of process and pipeline equipment are based at the new facility.
BJ PPS - Qatar offers the full range of process and pipeline services. Some of these services include cold and hot nitrogen work, chemical cleaning, hydrostatic testing, nitrogen and helium leak detection, and pipe freezing, as well as pipeline and process pipe cleaning and drying services that are carried out with a variety of field-proven techniques.
The opening of the new Doha base reflects the pipeline and process services specialist's continuing commitment to Qatar.

With 15 BJ PPS staff and a full complement of specialised equipment located in Doha, BJ PPS has the local resources to meet the challenges of the largest projects. To ensure superior services, BJ PPS will continue to draw additional support from personnel and equipment from the entire network of bases in the Middle East.
BJ PPS has been providing pipeline pre-commissioning, nitrogen, helium leak testing, chemical cleaning and water injection services in Qatar since 1995. James Allen, operations manager - Qatar, has operational responsibility for the new BJ PPS base. He reports to Derek Grimley, area manager - Middle East, who is located at the BJ PPS base in Dubai.
