Emirates Post launches in-house recycling campaign in association with Emirates Environment Group

The Director General of Emirates Post, Mr. Abdullah Al Daboos, launched a Paper Recycling Campaign for Emirates Post staff in collaboration with Emirates Environment Group.
Under the campaign, all used papers from Emirates Post's offices will be collected from staff members and deposited in a special boxes placed at all departments. Every last Thursday of the month, used papers will be collected for recycling.
To mark the campaign, Emirates Post also created a special postmark with the slogan "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle". The message will be stamped on mail during the period from February 11 to 18, in order to raise awareness about recycling.
Mr. Abdullah Al Daboos, Director General of Emirates Post, said: "As part of our corporate social responsibility, we have launched this campaign that will educate our employees on how recycling leads to better environment. We believe we need to support this activity at every level by encouraging our employees to use different ways of recycling."
Habiba Al Mirashi commented, "It is pleasing to know that corporates are getting involved in recycling campaigns. This signals that our message is reaching the end-users. Recycling is not just the responsibility of the municipality and people's involvement is very crucial. Emirates Environment Group is a non-governmental, socially committed organization, with a mission to raise public awareness about environmental issues."
