Nadia Dajani ties up with the 'Bidadari' jewelry designers in a Jordanian-Malaysian 'Fusion' Exhibition

The exhibition features joint designs created by Nadia Dajani and the House of Bidadari represented by Marina Samad.

"We are pleased to launch our new collection "Fusion" in collaboration with the House of Bidadari from Malaysia. Our collection is a witness of the intercultural artistic harmony that will enrich our understanding of the other by experimenting a new blend of unique jewelry material, therefore capturing a new creative spirit. This exhibition is also a celebration of our shop's third anniverasry, an occasion we like to celebrate by continuing on enriching art through our jewelry concepts." said Nadia Dajani commenting on the "Fusion" Collection.

The House of Bidadari, represented by the Samad sisters Marina and Nazlee, took part in the International Jewelry Fair (IJL) London 2006; this participation resulted in a genuine artistic collaboration with Nadia Dajani when she was showcasing her jewelry at the IJL 2006.

The "Fusion" collection will feature the Nadia Dajani signature piece of Al Salam Collection represented in the silver disk incorporating Arabic calligraphy carvings, combined with the Malaysian designs using unique stones like crystals, semi-precious gemstones and minerals, creating beautiful combinations in necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.

"We are happy to be here in Jordan with Nadia Dajani as our host, our original collaboration shall present exclusive designs capturing the spirit of the Far East combined with the rich Arabic Islamic culture. We believe that this combination reflects all that is positive about the healing powers of stones and sacred words," said Malaysian jewelry designer Marina Samad.

Nadia Dajani's creations will feature inspirational designs, beauty of symbolism, and focusing on significant words such as dignity, truth, tolerance, hope and justice, engraved with Arabic calligraphy on silver charms, held together with pearls, semi-precious stones, silver and leather making up contemporary jewellery both in silver and 18 karat gold.

"We are proud to be the first to launch such a creative initiative, and we believe that such Fusion will raise the bar in the Jordanian jewelry industry, offering Jordanians the chance to witness an innovative design initiative reflecting our history and heritage," concluded Nadia Dajani.
