Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar hosts Henrietta Fore, United States Under Secretary of State for Management

Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar is proud to host a lecture event with Henrietta Fore, Under Secretary of State for Management, Thursday, February 15th.
"Henrietta Fore has held many posts in the private sector and is keen to share her experiences with students in Qatar," says Kara Nesimiuk, events planner for Carnegie Mellon Qatar. "Henrietta is an excellent example of how a solid education can be applied to numerous fields. Her many successes are sure to inspire young students to work hard and aim high."
As the Under Secretary for Management, it's Fore's job to lead the bureaus of Administration, Consular Affairs, Diplomatic Security, Human Resources, Information Resource Management, Overseas Buildings Operations, Foreign Service Institute, Office of Medical Services, Office of Management Policy, Office of Rightsizing the U.S. Government's Overseas Presence and the White House Liaison. She is responsible for the people, resources, facilities, technology and security of the Department of State, and also is the Secretary's principal advisor on management issues.
Prior to her appointment, Fore served as the 37th Director of the United States Mint in the Department of Treasury and managed the world's largest manufacturer of coins, medals and coin products. Earlier in her career Under Secretary Fore was a successful business woman running her own company and serving on the boards of public corporations.
