EMAAR launches sale of homes in Al Sahab twin tower in Dubai Marina

EMAAR Properties, the region's premier real-estate company, today announced that it will open the sale of one, two, three bedroom and penthouse apartment suites in the spectacular 44-storey and 24-storey towers in the Al Sahab waterfront complex to national and expatriate investors today.

Dubai, October 20, 2002: The residential units are priced upwards of AED 484, 800.

The company also announced that it will also open the sale of a limited number of unique two/ three storey, multi-level residential suites that form part of the new development. This dynamic new residential concept, Marina Homes, takes its inspiration from the waterfront architecture in premier communities in the French Riviera, and is being introduced for the first time in the region.

The company has created a special facility at its Dubai Marina Sales Centre, to organise the sale of the apartment suites and multi-level Marina Homes. The facility will open its doors for sale between 10.00 am and 8.00 pm, seven days a week.

The twin Al Sahab tower complex forms part of District 7, the latest phase of EMAAR's ambitious Dubai Marina project, and will also contain a number of shopping and entertainment centres. The complex, which is located on the eastern side of Dubai Marina, offers unparalleled views of the Arabian Gulf, world-class golf courses, and vistas of the new growth corridor across the Jumeirah area.

Mr. Mansour Al Othaimin, Corporate Director, Sales & Marketing, EMAAR Properties, said: "With Dubai Marina, EMAAR Properties is creating a truly world-class project that will compete with the world's best, through a range of unique and hi-tech accommodation units, including a residential and commercial smart town."

Describing the upscale residential concept of Marina Homes, he further said: "Marina Homes is targeted at investors who, on the one hand, desire the amenities associated with living in the buzz of a waterfront apartment community, and enjoy the luxury of an exclusive villa, on the other. Marina Homes will set a bench-mark in premium quality residential housing in the region."

With large terraces overlooking the Marina, these two/ three storey units are equipped with villa-like facilities such as 2 car park garages and walk out gardens, and have built-up areas ranging from 2,282 sq.ft and 2,747 sq.ft.

Commenting on the designer apartment suites, Mr. Robert Booth, Executive Director (Development), EMAAR Properties said: "The built-up areas of the luxurious one, two and three bedroom designer apartment suites in the Al Sahab Tower range between 860 sq.ft and 3,350 sq.ft, and feature state-of-the-art high-speed digital technology for Internet, television and voice communications. With lush landscaped courtyards and private secured gardens, the building will offer residents a host of facilities such as secured underground car parking, 24 hour maintenance, state-of-the-art building security."

The Al Sahab complex will also have a 8,000 sq.ft spa and a fitness club facility housed in a separate building, which will include outdoor terraces, a swimming pool and gymnasium. Other amenities offered to the residents will include a Hollywood style movie theatre, games room, business centre, lounge facilities, bicycle paths and walkways, waterfront restaurants, health clinics, boutiques and child care centres.

Dubai Marina is a visionary master planned community by EMAAR Properties and marks one of the Gulf's biggest building projects. Upon completion, this 50 million square foot project will house luxury residential and leisure facilities covering approximately 3 square kilometers.

The world's largest master planned waterfront development of its kind, Dubai Marina will be the region's first 'intelligent city' that will eventually house 40,000 people in luxurious residential apartments towers and villas in a spectacular waterfront location.
