The show, which sees the region's burgeoning call centre community come together to learn and network is being held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The annual show, or MECC, as it has become known, has Customer Contact as its main theme this year and will examine best practice and localized strategies in the areas of customer management, contact centres and outsourcing.
Dominick Keenaghan, president of show organisers INSIGHTS, explained, 'The quality of customer interactions is becoming ever more critical to the success of a company and the MECC shows have helped many a regional call centre understand at what stage of development they are at and the directions they need to move in to dramatically improve their customer contact initiatives.
'Avaya have demonstrated worldwide leadership in this field through the width and breadth of the business solutions they offer and, in fact, have supported the MECC events ever since their inception over ten years ago. We are delighted that they have chosen to take a more pro-active role in the show and the development of the regional call centre industry in general though their premium sponsorship this year.'
According to Nidal Abu Ltaif, Managing Director of Avaya Middle East and North Africa, 'The MECC show is among most important events in the regional call centre calendar and a great opportunity for Avaya to meet new and existing customers and showcase our latest products and services. We will be making some exciting new announcements at MECC this year - specifically about how the region's small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can create contact centers -- and as a result expect to expand upon our current market leading position even further.'
