Sharjah airport 3m passengers

Sharjah International Airport recorded a throughput of more than 3m passengers in 2006, representing a 37% increase over 2005. Aircraft traffic was up 14.2% to 44,182 flights, according to a statement by the airport. Air freight was up 13%.
