- PRESS RELEASE
Kuwait Express Advertising (KEA) has revealed it is to set up an office in Dubai, as part of a Middle East distribution network intended to tap growing regional demand for commercial digital printing.
"The Middle East's indoor and outdoor signage market is strategically important for us. It has been growing at an impressive and steady pace for a number of years and we see great potential for high future growth," said Adnan Marafie, Executive Manager, KEA.
The Sunnyway Digital Printing System will make its southern Gulf debut at Sign and Graphic Imaging 2003, the only show of its kind serving the specialised signage, graphic imaging and screen printing sectors in the Middle East and North Africa.
To be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC), from January 20-22, the exhibition will, for the first time, span three halls. It will feature a sector-specific pre-press arena as well as an expanded 'Global Trends in Signage and Digital Imaging' conference. The live demonstration area, for sign making, laser technology, adhesives and graphics applications, will also be expanded.
Also confirmed for 2003 is an Indian pavilion of companies, from the Indian Printing, Packaging and Allied Manufacturers Association, and official participation by Japan's All Japan Neon Sign Association, that has 600 members.
To date exhibitors from 16 countries, spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, Indian sub-continent and Far East will be participating in Sign and Graphic Imaging 2003.
"According to industry figures the region's outdoor advertising market is worth in excess of US$ 75 million and growing at the rate of 15% annually," said Mohammed Falaknnaz, Vice President, International Expo Consults, the show's organisers.
"The 2003 exhibition will provide a platform for companies seeking to build regional market share as well as being a showcase for the latest industry technology and thinking."
