LG Electronics launches a wide range of IT products in Saudi Arabia

LG electronics is offering unique projectors that combine style and aesthetics with cutting-edge DLP projection by combining the best picture technology from DLP with LG's proprietary technology and stylish design. The innovative and modern design resembles a piece of high tech gadget in order to make it easy to incorporate in any design scheme. They have also designed the world's first wall mounted projector - AN110 & AN215. These designs have won multiple awards including: EISA, iF, IDEA, reddot, InfoComm, CES and many more worldwide.

In the notebook division, LG electronics revealed a high-performance 12-inch widescreen, model Z1PRO EXPRESS DUAL. This notebook boasts of maximum performance with Core 2 Duo processor and the most absolutely efficient multimedia functions with the ATI Mobility Radeon X1350. The Z1PRO EXPRESS DUAL sports superior performance and stylish looks. Z1PRO EXPRESS DUAL comes in premium piano black design in an elegant glossy finish and sports a 12.1-inch widescreen weighing in at 1.94 kg.

With the introduction of the Z1 series, LG has now established a full line-up of premium notebook-concept piano black designs (S1-15.4"/T1-14"/Z1-12"/A1, C1-10.6"), and aims to gain a competitive advantage in the notebook market for 2007."

Meanwhile, LG Electronics launched a new line-up of LCD monitors, the FLATRON LX70H series model L1970HR, L1770HQ which are equipped with the contrast-ratio enhancing technology, DFC, allowing the world's highest contrast ratio available today, 2000:1, which is a significant improvement on the current 1600:1 contrast ratio.

The FLATRON LX70 series delivers not only a superior design, but also superior performance. DFC technology with world leading contrast ratio of 2000:1, offers users a clearer, crisper and brighter image, the FLATRON L1970HR features lightening fast response time: 2ms (GTG). The 2ms (GTG) response time is more than twice as fast as the existing products on the market, whose response times are 8~12ms.

LG showcased its cutting-edge mini retractable chocolate style flash RAM USB drive. Based on LG's popular Chocolate design, this retractable Flash RAM USB Drive is compact, stylish and a great tool for anyone in need of an external storage device. With no cap to lose, it features storage capacities ranging from 1GB to 4GB, and a red eye LED to let you know when it is working. Additionally, there is added security with the password lock feature. This USB has a read speed of 7MB per second and a write speed of 5 MB per second.

Reaffirming its position as the global leader in optical storage drives, LG Electronics announces the availability of the security function added Super Multi DVD Rewriter in Saudi Arabia. LG's new Super Multi DVD Rewriter, featuring SecurDisc™ technology, meets the market's need for a high secure data protection and content access control when writing data in CD and DVD formats.

The groundbreaking "Super Multi Blue" Blu-ray Disc Rewriter and HD DVD-ROM Drive (GGW-H10N) is compatible with both Blu-ray Discs and HD-DVD formats. The Super Multi Blue drive is compatible with Blu-ray Disc, DVD, CD read/write and HD-DVD-ROM (read), offering consumers with the most universal unit available. The GGW-H10N model can record up to 50GB of data, equivalent up to 9 hours of high-definition video or 23 hours or standard definition video (on a dual layer 50GB BD-R/BD-RE recordable media). Surpassing the market standard, LG is providing a 4x recording speed of Blu-ray Discs, which means that it takes only 23-24 minutes to burn a full single layer BD-R disc (25GB), compared to 46-47 minutes with conventional 2x recording.

The core technologies of Super Multi Blue Drive are Optical Pickup* technology (which supports Blu-ray disc write/playback, HD DVD playback and DVD/CD write/playback), and the system controlling the Optical Pickup securely and effectively. (Optical Pickup is the device reading and storing data by converting the code of the light reflected by an optical disc to electric code.)All of these are LG's proprietary technologies.
